Post-Doctoral Research Fellow.

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the PISTON project. My current role is to help investigate the relationship between developmental plasticity and speciation by developing a novel open-source software of 3D feature extraction. To achieve the research goal, I work in the Vision, Learning & Control research group integrating traditional computer vision algorithms and deep learning techniques to build a shape modelling method for foraminifera analyse.

I received my PhD from The National Centre for Computer Animation at the University of Bournemouth, the UK No.1 educational and research base for computer animation. During my PhD, I spent time on automatically calculate the geometrical shape of hairstyles from a single portrait image for generating high fidelity results. I had a great time and gained a lot of experiences on image processing and shape modelling there.
